Rain Zapper (mini game)
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
This is a mini-game I created as part of the 2018 edition of the retro-challenge. My goal was to see if I could connect a NES Zapper to the joystick port of a Tandy 1000 computer connected to a TV CRT.

The original version was for DOS only and ran on a Tandy 1000, but can now also run on computers with a CGA or VGA card. Yes, the NES Zapper will even work on a VGA CRT! Schematics to build an adapter to connect the NES Zapper to a DOS computer are available on the project page, but as an alternative, the game can also be played with a mouse.
You can run the DOS version in DOSBox, but the Windows and Linux versions here are conveniently bundled with their own custom emulator, so you can simply double-click the .exe and play with a mouse.
